Cutter/Folder Operator

Experienced folder operator that is proficient in setting-up and maintaining Stahl folders.  Cutting experience with Polar or Senator cutters is also preferred.  Sets up and operates folder and cutter machines to automatically fold, slit, score and/or cut printed sheets into signatures for binding. Operation of machines requires reading and understanding job ticket to determine setup specifications. Adjusts machines during production run as required. Must be able to troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments while ensuring quality and minimizing wasted product. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains neat; clean orderly work area. Operates or assists on other bindery equipment if needed and when workload permits. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Computer skills helpful. Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.  **This position requires standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 40 pounds

Stitcher Operator - Finishing Department

This position functions as the Stitcher Operator. Responsible for the safety and well being of their crew while managing the daily work schedule, quality control,  troubleshooting of machines, training and crew development.  In addition to establishing and improving production standards, the role includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.  Mechanical and computer skills highly beneficial.

Mailing Preparation Specialist

This position is responsible for assisting in the growth and profitability of the mailing department.  This is accomplished through effective operation techniques, efficient management of time and resources, as well as developing new revenue streams.  The role of the mail prep specialist is to add value to the overall customer experience, in addition to establishing and improving overall production techniques and standards.  Computer and organizational skills are required.

General Production - Web Press Department

 
New Start Rate for Full-time employees: $10.00 per hour, 2nd shift 50 cent/hour shift differential and 3rd shift $1.00/hour
Will stack printed pieces evenly and in a timely fashion on a pallet or skid while checking for quality and assisting the crew where needed.  Will move pallets or skids to and from the work area.  Will assist in changing paper rolls, washing press blankets, and performing preventative maintenance as needed.  Will check overall quality of the printed pieces.  Will need to continually communicate with the press operator on the performance of the current job.  Will keep the area around the press machines clean of unnecessary items and perform other duties as assigned. Mechanical aptitude helpful. **This position requires standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

3rd Shift = Wage + $1.00 shift differential
