This position is responsible for all activities related to invoicing. Applicants must have in depth knowledge of our web and sheet fed based practices, be analytical, organized, and able to assist with inventory counts, mailing fees, estimates and fulfillments needs. Must have excellent computer and mathematical skills, have multi-tasking abilities, keep accurate records and have a strong attention to detail. Verify and post details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and total accounts. Reconcile bank statements. Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts. Compiles and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions. Compute and record charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items. Types vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records. Summarize details in separate ledgers or computer files and transfers data to general ledger. Reconcile and balance accounts. Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business. Compute and mail monthly statements to customers. Complete records to or through trial balance. Check and approve all vouchers for payment. Also prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary. Audit freight bills against freight manifests. Prepare accounts payable checks. Print all account payable reports and maintains all account payable files. Prepare analysis of accounts, as required. Maintain customer database.
This creative position is responsible for the conceptual design and creation of images, logos, and printed materials. The job also involves typesetting at various levels and making changes to materials already created but in need of updating. Limited pre-press work is performed in conjunction with the design duties. Consideration must be given to the customer’s budget, design taste, time, and ultimate use of the product. Create conceptual design and layout of images, logos, and materials for printing. Perform basic typesetting and layout of materials for printing. Perform traditional layout, cut & paste, and page marrying of materials for printing. Perform preliminary proof reading of all outgoing materials designed in the department. Perform routine systems and file maintenance in accordance with guidelines set by the department manager. Archive all jobs. Advise and assist the department manager in developing and administering department operational procedures and policies. Perform all other duties assigned and those that may be necessary to achieve company and department goals.
This position functions as the Supervisor in the Finishing and Web Press Department. Primary duties include: the safety and well-being of their crews, managing the daily work schedule and required staffing, quality control, equipment maintenance, training and crew development. Will stack printed pieces evenly and in a timely fashion on a pallet or skid while checking for quality and assisting the crew where needed. Will move pallets or skids to and from the work area. Will assist in changing paper rolls, washing press blankets, and performing preventative maintenance as needed. Will check overall quality of the printed pieces. Will need to continually communicate with the press operator on the performance of the current job. Will keep the area around the press machines clean of unnecessary items and perform other duties as assigned. Mechanical aptitude helpful. **This position requires standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Feed the stitcher pockets with the correct piece(s) and ensure the operation runs efficiently. Stack the finished product on pallets or skids and properly label the skid with tags. Sort pieces by zip codes and check the quality of the stitched and addressed product or book. Maintains neat; clean orderly work area. All other general duties as assigned.
